Day 2: Day at Sea
Each Star Clippers ship offers a traditional and elegant way to see the world. Feel the wind fill the sails and gently carry you from one gorgeous destination to the next. During your time on board, you can choose to relax on a sun lounger or cool off in one of the pools on the top deck, while more adventurous passengers may enjoy the opportunity to climb the rigging or even have a go at steering the ship. Alternatively, you can wander the interior areas of the ship and discover relaxing lounges, a revitalising spa (Royal Clipper only) and a peaceful library.

Day 4: Fethiye, Turkey
With it's picture postcard backdrop of golden sands, forested mountains, and miles of turquoise ocean, it’s no surprise that Fethiye is one of the most visited cruise ports on Turkey’s Turquoise Coast. It is centre for traditional gulet boats with many cruises starting out from here so you can expect it to be bust during high season. The fish market is particularly special here and quaint and traditional restaurants surround an open-air courtyard of stalls selling freshly caught fish and seafood.
Day 5: Symi, Greece
Day 6: Chalki, Greece
Chalki’ was officially designated “The Island of Peace and Friendship” by the Greek government in the Eighties. It has certainly lived up to it's reputation. It is beautifully tranquil and unspoilt. The stunning Italianate mansions that surround its harbour makes a wonderful first impression. If you want to venture beyond then it's worth hiking up to the islands monastery to admire the glorious views. Make sure you don't leave the former sponge-diving island without trying the delicious Chalki Shrimps - small deep fried shrimps which you eat whole.
Day 7: Milos, Greece
Day 8: Piraeus (Athens), Greece
Walking in the shadow of the Acropolis in the Agora, you can almost hear the voices of Plato, Socrates and Aristotle arguing about who was the greatest philosopher. Ancient Athens, the birthplace of democracy and epicenter of western civilization, is a city for all eternity.
